Big time bottle job cunt. Sooner or later Mourinho's whining had to have an effect and this bloke took the bait massively and melted big time.
A £5bn league with £10 officials. Fucking disgraceful.

Are officials getting worse or is it just that we now have more cameras and coverage to highlight just how much they get wrong?

I'd like to see some of those incidents again but with the naked eye he looked like he had an absolute shocker.

Have to disagree - I just thought he did fine. I think we're too quick to blame the refs.

One or two of his decisions seemed scandalous.

He was shit and wasn't helped by 2 useless linesman. Mourinho definately got in his head and he was bottling big decisions all through the game.
The goal was a good foot offside as well. CUNTS!!!

He was shit tonight.
But we failed to put the ball in the net and so ended up with nothing.

This bloke is an absolute woeful SHITHOUSE. Had plenty of shockers this season.
You know he's shit when Keith Hackett even says he's not good enough to ref anymore.
Changed his name from ANDREW to ANDRE to sound more exotic. Says it all.

Goal was half a yard off side Nolans goal at Old Trafford given off for half his face being over the line!
Terrible officiating all season long.
But a brilliant performance from the boys have to say best I've seen Nolan play for ages!

Just had a raving to do with my brother on this - but then he hates Chelsea more than his ex mother in law, which is saying something
Sure he got some calls wrong, but he also did with some against us too
I just saw him letting two teams have it at tempo and the game was better for it - refereeing convention says that you should slow the game down in such circumstances, he let it run and let the boys play, for that outstanding reffing
We lost by a short head, shit happens and they have the better players, several of which will be carrying the bruises to both body and ego
Hard man Diego? Fuck him Ginge ate him.
Hazzard took a battering but was what he is, the best current player on the planet for me

Re: Marriner

Crassus - It's not him being lenient, the bloke doesn't know what he is doing.
At Liverpool v Swansea, ignored a blatant elbow from Shelvey and gave nothing when he watched Sterling slap a player in the face...
although to be fair neither did his lino, standing right next to him.
The game is proper bent, and people seem to accept it.

I've called Marriner out on here before, he is ALWAYS shit against us.
I'm usually loathe to jump on the bad ref bandwagon, and have no problem with most of them, and think in the main they do a difficult job well. And I think Marriner is usually a good ref, in games that don't involve West Ham. But he definitely has something against us, I've been calling it for years now with him, was gutting when I saw he was the ref, and knew what was coming.

Re: Marriner

Yeah, these referees give a few cheap decisions to West Ham, usually on the half way line when no damage can be done. That way, it might appear it works both ways, but there's not a chance it does.

Re: Marriner

He and his officials were clearly influenced by the Chelsea, take the Kouyate incident he may have called it right but I honestly believe had the roles been reversed he would have awarded a free kick and having seen the state of the attacker booked the defender having through fear of upsetting Mourinho.
Likewise the goal, I was sat level and my gut instinct it was close and had he raised his flag it would have been understandable and again had the roles been reversed I have no doubt he would have.
All night the officials when faced with a 50/50 decision deliberately favoured Chelsea and it was so obvious that myself and few more usually pretty objective fans around me commented on it.

The official Chelsea Twitter site had this to say,
"@ChelseaFC: Mourinho says Andre Marriner and his team performed excellently in what was not an easy match to referee. #CFC"
